Our story
Navira was established in 2016 by Al-Hamumy Limited in Kenya — the group's trading company, which built it because it needed it. Today it is built and operated by SHAHMCO, across the United Kingdom, East Africa and the Gulf.
NAVIRA originated in East Africa in 2016 as a business software platform and evolved through years of practical enterprise use.
The technology was subsequently developed and expanded by SHAHMCO Global in the UAE into a modern GCC-focused ERP, financial automation and regulatory-compliance platform.
NAVIRA Technologies Saudi Arabia represents the next stage of that evolution: a dedicated Saudi technology operation built for the Kingdom's digital economy and regulatory environment.
Where we have worked
United Kingdom
Trading and compliance work under one of the most demanding VAT and record-keeping regimes in the world — the standard against which everything else is easy.
East Africa
Years of trading across Kenya and the region, where invoicing has to work on a bad connection, in a second language, for a business that cannot afford a finance department.
The GCC
Where Navira is built and where it is used: Saudi Arabia's ZATCA mandate first, the UAE's FTA mandate next, from an operating base in the region rather than a sales office.
What we hold ourselves to
Four commitments, each one written so you could catch us breaking it.
Every claim here is checkable
Our status pages name the exact ZATCA environment Navira is onboarded on, and the evidence behind every figure — the table count, the policy count, the test count. Nothing on this site is a number we cannot show you the query for.
Your data leaves when you do
Full CSV and PDF export of everything, at any time, without asking us. Your ZATCA certificate is issued to your VAT number, not to Navira. There is no lock-in contract, because a compliance tool that traps you is leverage, not a product.
Bilingual by construction, not by translation
Arabic and English on the same document, with real right-to-left rendering — not a translated screenshot and not broken glyphs.
The regulator is the authority, not our reading of it
Our document pipeline is validated against ZATCA's own SDK and corrected against the live gateway wherever the two disagree. When the gateway and a specification document conflict, the gateway wins — it is the thing that will actually reject your invoice.
The group behind Navira
Navira is not a start-up looking for its first invoice. It came out of businesses that were already filing in three jurisdictions — and those businesses still run on it.
Al-Hamumy Limited
Established Navira in 2016. Navira began as the invoicing system Al-Hamumy needed for its own trade across East Africa.

Where we are today
- Saudi Arabia — ZATCA
- Onboarded and active on ZATCA's Fatoora simulation environment — CSID issued, all six compliance checks passed, invoices signed, cleared and returning zero warnings. Simulation is the stage ZATCA requires before a production certificate is issued. Each merchant then onboards under their own certificate, which Navira walks you through.
- United Arab Emirates
- Generates and validates PINT AE e-invoice XML and stores it alongside every invoice, so your documents are ready the day the mandate reaches you. Transmission to the FTA runs through an accredited service provider you appoint; Navira builds and signs the document to the exact format they expect, so connecting is a configuration step rather than a migration.
